Let's Watch ECW #47

I'm taking a trip back in time to the early days of ECW. I'm starting with the first episode of Hardcore TV after "The Night The Line Was Crossed", which occurred on February 5, 1994. This is before "Extreme", back when ECW was still Eastern Championship Wrestling. Consider this your viewing guide to the ECW archives on the WWE Network.

It's Paul E. leading 911 into a handicap match which he wins quickly with a choke slam. More guys get involved. More choke slams. This guy appears to know one move, but he's a Paul (Heyman) Guy, and the ECW fans love him.

It's a double main event for this episode: First, The Public Enemy vs. Kevin Sullivan & The Tazmaniac. The Bruise Brothers get involved, but their interference backfires. Flyboy Rocco Rock pins Sullivan and we have new ECW Tag Team Champions. P.E. make a break for it with the belts. Backstage interview guy Jay Sulli is shown screaming out the backdoor of the ECW Arena as they speed away. "Rocco!!! Johnny!!!" The Public Enemy has left the building. On the other side of the arena, Sullivan introduces a big guy he calls Crash.

Finally, it's Road Warrior Hawk vs. The Pit Bull. Shane Douglas is a guest commentator. Styles baits "The Franchise" about a possible match between himself and Hawk. Hawk wins in short order. A wild brawl involving Hawk, The Public Enemy (I thought they left?), Kevin Sullivan & The Tazmaniac, Shane Douglas and Terry Funk (with a ladder) wraps up the show.
